Tony is a very active member of the foundation sharing his experience in the tourism industry and his extensive network in Indonesia.

Born in Liege Belgium, Tony graduated from C.E.R.I.A. Hotel School in Brussels. He spent 14 months in Antarctica as intendant of the first Belgian-Dutch Expedition at the King Baudouin Base in Queen Maud Land in 1964.
After immigrating to the US he had several General Manager’s positions in Hawaii and Micronesia and joined Continental airlines as Director of Marketing and Sales for Continental Hotels.

In 1979 he joined Pan Pacific Hotels as opening General Manager and Owners Representative of the Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka Bangladesh,
In 1987 he spend 10 years with the Sahid Group of Hotels in Jakarta Indonesia, first as the General Manager of the Sahid Jaya Hotel, and in 1993 became C.E.O. and Managing Director of the Management arm of the Group with hotels in Indonesia and International.

He returned to the US to manage the highest-rated family restaurant Le Vallauris in Palm Springs, California where he now still resides. He was recognized in the many places he worked by the Hospitality industry with several awards.
